Working with local business
As a college we can't succeed with the help and support of local businesses, communities and stakeholders. We actively engage with a variety of amazing businesses to ensure our courses are preparing students for real world, working environments.
The college has developed courses in association with many businesses including Ben Burgess, The British Horse Society and Norfolk FWAG,we are continually liaising and communicating with other local businesses to help identify any skills gap and work with them to find a solution.
We also recently launched the Rural Enterprise East Business Hub, friendly shared work space, designed to provide a comfortable office environment away from home for the self employed, freelancer or home worker. We are passionate about small business and run a range of workshops and seminars to support business owners with bookkeeping, social media, copy writing and maintaining your own website, with new courses being added all the time. After being a pupil myself, many years ago, we are keen to work with and support the college to solve the issue around the lack of youngsters coming into the industry. We find that the apprenticeship scheme through Easton helps us to train youngsters up to the industry standard that our customers expect.
