We have an exciting opportunity in our Higher Education department at our beautiful rural Easton campus, Norfolk. Working with our undergraduate students as a Module Leader, you will deliver high quality theory and practical based learning activities to our Foundation Degree in Agriculture students and Access to Land-based Sciences (Agriculture pathway).

We have an exciting array of modules for our successful candidate(s) to deliver which include; Livestock Production, Applied Agriculture Science, Agriculture Environment, and Crop Production. These modules will develop our student’s skills in the management and production of common livestock species, plant and animal biology, ecological dynamics of farm habitats, and factors involved in establishing quality economic crops.

The approximate allocated sessional hours to this post is 11 hours per week, across Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. This is a fixed term contract for 1 academic year with an approximate end date of 26th June 2020.

Each HE Module Leader is responsible, under the direction of the Programme Leader (PL), for the design, validation and delivery of teaching and learning activities within their subject area. These activities will include delivering quality teaching and learning sessions, tutorials, induction sessions, monitoring student progress, supervising project work and carrying out assessment and moderation or work.

Ideally you will have a postgraduate qualification in this subject specialism with a range of employment and working experience to bring theory to life. You may also have prior experience in teaching environments ideally within the Higher Education sector. You will be adaptable and enthusiastic and be able to work within the HE team to deliver quality sessions and develop our programme offer.
