Dog Grooming Lecturer
Part Time | 22.5 hours per week | Permanent | Easton Campus | £22,000 - £30,000 per annum, pro-rata
Easton and Otley College are looking to recruit an inspiring and enthusiastic lecturer who can deliver our Dog Grooming Courses to our students and the general public with commitment and passion.
Please note there will be a teaching caseload allocated to this position along with commercial course delivery, therefore you must hold a City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in Dog Grooming in order to apply. Please note you must be able to provide your qualification certificate to evidence this.
Any experience relating to working with animals would be desirable.
This position has 3 working days available, the days will be confirmed at a later date and are negotiable.
As a Lecturer you will be responsible for the planning, delivery, assessment and moderation of Dog grooming courses – level 2 and 3 to enable the learners to achieve the learning outcomes, including a high level of learner retention and achievement. In doing so you will comply with the college's quality standards, the common inspection framework and the Self-Assessment Action Plan which training would be given for.
A Teaching qualification is desirable but not essential as training can be given for the right candidate. The salary range for a non-qualified lecturer will be in the range of £22,000 - £23,000, with the opportunity to gain qualifications through our teaching training course with our support and progress accordingly in the salary scale.
