Significant changes to the bus routes serving the Easton Campus
As some of you may be aware we recently made some significant changes to the bus routes serving the Easton Campus, the details of which are on our website. This took place after an in-depth review, in conjunction with Norfolk County Council looking at the number of people using the buses and the costs of these services to both the college and to students. Whilst we have removed several services, we have worked with the council to ensure alternative routes are available.
As part of this review, we also looked at the cost of travel for students and found that there are significant monetary savings and benefits as a result of changing to the use of public buses. For example; A college bus pass would be £540 for 3 days per week, 36 weeks of the year, however, you can buy an Explorer Season ticket for £450 giving travel 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year. For exact costs and bus routes for your individual journey please contact the service providers directly, a list of which can be found on the college website.
For further details or more information please see the transport pages on our website or call the Norfolk County Council on 0344 800 8020.
Safe, comfortable and well maintained Residential facilities are also available at our Easton Campus for students studying on courses at Level 2 and above. For more information about our student accommodation visit our website.
We look forward to welcoming you in September.
