Transport Information

Getting to college is easy. There is an extensive network of direct bus routes to both campuses from across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. Detailed bus routes, stops and times of travel from most locations are available.

Payment can be made by cash, cheque, credit or debit card (cheques need to made payable to Easton & Otley College). Please bring your payment to the Student Centre or phone 01603 732389 to make a card payment by telephone.


At the Easton Campus our students travel from all across Norfolk and our neighbouring counties. There are several options for student travel.


College buses are provided by Norfolk County Council and pick up at various locations throughout the county, and drop off at our Machinery Yard. Students can either pay for bus travel on the day or purchase a bus pass directly from Norfolk County Council. Bus passes can be paid for termly and there are discretionary reduced rates for students whose household is in receipt of certain benefits. Please ensure you apply for your travel pass in good time - contact the appropriate council directly for further information on their specific timescales. You do not need to wait until your course offer is confirmed or your bursary application has been processed (if applicable).


This is a public bus which links Easton village to Peterborough in the west and Lowestoft in the East. Students travelling from Wisbech, Kings Lynn and Lowestoft will normally catch this bus. The X1 also links the college to Norwich, with buses leaving from the Des Amis bus stop in Easton every half an hour.


Students can chose to travel from Norwich Park and Ride sites using the college bus. Park and Ride bus passes are issued by the college finance department.

For students with additional needs or disabilities that are unable to travel by bus please contact your local county council for information about specialist transport for post-16 education.


There is a College Bursary Fund available which can be applied for. If eligible, the bursary may be able help with travel costs, college meals and other expenses. Please be aware that no bursary payments are made prior to students commencing their course, therefore any payments due before September will need to be made up front.


Students can chose to bring their own vehicles on site. There is plenty of parking available and all car parks are free. Students will need to register their vehicle details at point of enrolment and collect a parking permit from the Student Centre. This will need to be displayed at all times when on-site.


Accommodation comprises of single study bedrooms in halls or around the estate - all with wifi connection. It is provided to support students who would otherwise find college attendance difficult due to their location, lack of public transport or where duties are required as part of their course of study. The halls of residence consists or four blocks which are situated around the residential courtyard. Three blocks contain single study bedrooms with shared bathroom facilities. The fourth block consists of 20 able body rooms and two disabled rooms. These are single study bedrooms with en-suite facilities.
