Science Outreach in Norfolk

Range from independant science communicators who can provide science shows in schools or at major events to specialised communications experts in a wide range of science topics to science education experts providing support for teachers,pupils and career advisors. We offer workshops for gifted and talented students to events for the public at a range of venues including the annual Science in Norwich Day held at the Forum during National Science and Engineering Week in March.ans, bursaries, scholarships and awards – that’s hundreds of millions of pounds worth of FREE money on offer every year!

Norfolk Young Farmers

Norfolk YFC was formed in March 1944 to provide support to rural young people. In it's early days these young people were predominately from farming families, but this soon changed as the programme of activities widened and therefore its appeal to young people. Its activities and events are kept fresh by the young people at the helm, as each club is run by young people for young people.

Cambridgeshire Young Farmers

Cambridgeshire Federation of Young Farmers Clubs are a group of 6 Clubs located throughout Cambridgeshire with around 100 members in total, aged between 10 and 26. This website has been built and is maintained by the members of the Cambridgeshire Young Farmers - so if you are a member and would like to contribute to it, please get in contact!

It may surprise you to learn who we are and what we do; we don't wear wellies all the time and a large number of our members have no links to agriculture at all. Everyone is welcome to join us to enjoy activities ranging from from ten pin bowling to team building and adventure weekends.

Disabled Students Allowances

Did you know there is help and support for students at University and College who have difficulties due to: A disability, an ongoing health condition, sensory impairment, such as hearing loss or sight problems, a mental health condition, a specific learning difficulty, e.g. dyslexia. You can get help with paying for: Equipment, Software and Support. If you feel that your disability could make it difficult for you to study, then the Disabled Student's Allowances (DSAs) may be what you need.

This resource which is without charge to schools and colleges comes complete with lesson plans written by a qualified teacher, interactive teaching materials and video case studies designed to assist in providing careers advice to students aged 14+.
