Welcome to the website of the Governing Body (Corporation) of Easton and Otley College. The Corporation was formed following the decision by Governors of both Easton College and Otley College to merge and the subsequent approval of the merger by the Secretary of State.
On the 31st July 2012 both Easton and Otley Colleges dissolved and the new Easton and Otley College was incorporated on the 1st August 2012. The initial membership of the Corporation was formed and consisted of seven members from each of the Corporations with Sally Bendall being unanimously elected as Chair of the Corporation.

The information provided on this website provides detailed information about the Members of the Governing Body of the College and the work they do on behalf of the Students and Staff of the College.
The duties of the Corporation are specified in the Instrument and Articles of Government, and College Standing Orders. Collectively, individual Governors contribute their professional, specialist and general management skills to the Corporation (and through its committees and working parties) in a non-executive role. A Governor is required to be as flexible as possible in the conduct of their responsibilities and duties, ensuring that the balance of oversight of the College. In addition to independent governors the Corporation also has two staff members and two student members.
