Spring Fling 2017

7 April 2017

Easton and Otley College was out in force at the 2017 Spring Fling event that took place at the Royal Norfolk showground on Tuesday 4th April.

Visitors were asked to look into the future and predict what careers they would end up in by writing on an aspiration wall.

Elsewhere, various breeds of livestock including lambs and calves were at this occasion, standing alongside a drone, equine and tractor simulator.

Guests could also take part in a competition to design a hat for jockey ahead of the Grand National that takes place this weekend.

Hannah Dagless from the marketing team, said, “The Spring Fling is a fantastic event that promotes and celebrates many of the subjects that we teach. Therefore our attendance at this occasion is significant on many levels.

“By creating various interactive activities, we are able to help demonstrate some of the amazing opportunities that are available in food, farming and the countryside to young people. Hopefully this will inspire them to consider working in these industries in the future.”
