College creates floral displays for former students wedding

Floristry students from the college came to the aid of a former student by designing floral displays for his wedding.
The link up was between the floristry department at the College and Ben Price and his new wife Mandy.
Mr Price - who moved to Norfolk from London to retrain in horticulture, enjoyed his time at the college.
He said, “Studying horticulture is a great way to express yourself artistically and I got a lot out of my time at the Easton campus.”
On leaving the college, Mr Price got a job almost straight away and now runs his own business as a self-employed gardener. The Green Party county councillor didn’t think twice about approaching his former place to help him create the beautiful wedding bouquet his fiancé had always dreamed of.
He continued, “The floristry department were wonderful and really helped me out. The level of help and professional support I received was brilliant. But, I didn’t think I’d get anything less because of my experience at the college. I would like to thank everyone involved for their fantastic support.”
Tutor Gillian Lincoln, said, “It’s was a great real life experience for our students and we are thrilled that we were able to help out a former student on his special day.”
