Ian Hart

BA (Hons), QTS (GTP)

HE Administrator (Easton)

Ian’s career in education commenced as a part-time teaching assistant in a primary school during the same time that he was studying towards a BA (Hons) degree in English and Information Technology. He joined Easton and Otley College in 2009 as a Client Liaison Officer which spurred him on to train as a secondary teacher on the Graduate Teacher Programme. This took him on to head up his own Business and Computing department in a local high school. In pursuit of re-kindling his connections with the mature learning environment he re-joined the College in 2015. Alongside the day to day administrative tasks and support for staff and students, for the Easton Campus, Ian takes the lead on partnership links with the UEA, marketing technologies (inc: social media, the web site and the prospectus), external examiner administration and also the co-ordination of the annual graduation ceremony for both campuses.
