Countryside Management

What is a ‘countryside manager’?  Anyone who works in a role conserving plants and animals, managing access such as footpaths, or looking after recreation sites such as country parks could think of themselves as a countryside manager.

Our courses at Easton and Otley College are designed to equip you with the skills and experience you need to secure an exciting career in countryside management.  Many of our students have progressed into employment with organisations such as Wildlife Trusts, the Forestry Commission and country parks.  Our links with local employers and sites, as well as excellent on-site practical facilities, help to develop your employability and provide a real life training experience.  You could also consider using the UCAS points from the Level 3 qualifications to progress to higher education - past students have taken up degree courses at Harper Adams, Aberystwyth, and Bournemouth to name but a few.
